Up to 50 people can be accommodated at a time, although this will be less if chairs and wheelchairs are included. Film options in the dome will be: 1. Plastics in the sea/under the sea Creative zone The craft zone will be themed around Bees and Muddy church resources and will include the opportunity to make bee prints, a bug hotel and wind spirals, using a lot of recycled material. There will also be an opportunity to help make or decorate pallet planters, to decorate pots and add seed, and there will be activity sheets throughout the venue. The craft zone is primarily for children who must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times Seminar room Two speakers have been booked for the day: They will be offering half hour seminars, with the opportunity for questions in between sessions, and a question-and-answer session towards the end of the day. Other zones will include: • Quiet Zone for prayer and meditation • Refreshment Zone available in two places all day There will be other things going on all day. More information in the April edition of The Link. You can see what an important event this will be for our church as the venue. So, when the time comes, please sign up to help as welcomers, stewards, helpers with refreshments and so on. You won’t be expected to be on duty all day giving you the opportunity to have a look round and join in. The event is free and accessible for all. We can only reiterate that this will be an important event for our Church as the venue. So, when the time comes, please sign up to help as welcomers, stewards, helpers with refreshments and so on. You won’t be expected to be on duty all day giving you the opportunity to have a look round and join in. Let us know if you can publicise this to local groups because it is for the whole community not only the Circuit. We have been in touch with local schools to involve them. Pray that this will be a witness to our Christian calling to be good stewards of God’s creation. | |
